Feminist Retreat - Saturday, 28 March 2009

Looking for a safe space to discuss, develop and share your feminism? The NB Rebelles Fredericton are hosting a feminist retreat. ALL feminists are welcome.

WHEN: Saturday, March 28, 2009

TIME: 10:00am to 3:00pm

WHERE: Oakland Farm Lodge in New Maryland (click on title of post above for directions and map)

WHO: Everyone is welcome.

WHY: To make new feminist friends, and to talk about feminism in a fun, interactive and productive way.

INCLUDED: Lunch, hot chocolate and coffee.

HOW TO REGISTER: Registration is $5.00. To register, email nbrebelles@gmail.com with the subject ‘Retreat’ – and include your name, contact info, and if you need or can provide a drive.

This one-day retreat will include discussions and activities, and lots of opportunities to network and meet new feminist friends!

Event supports plight of women in Afghanistan by raising about $1,900 (sic)

The NBRebELLEs - Fredericton recently helped organize a benefit for the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA).

The third annual benefit raised $1,900. Donations can be made to the association until the end of April via the Fredericton Peace Coalition by e-mailing info@frederictonpeace.org.

lens. If you have input or ideas about gender and poverty in New Brunswick,
please join us and share your thoughts.
